Follow the money Data from state public records show that over 2,000 nursing home groups gave nearly $1.3 million to candidates for state office in 1998. The information is from the website of The National Institute on Money in State Politics at www.followthemoney.org. In Missouri, 277 nursing home groups gave contributions totalling $62,941 to candidates for 1998 state elections.
