Pasadena Taxi Complaints Still Unresolved

Out of sight, out of mind- Pasadena Weekly

From the Pasadena Weekly:

Officials vow to crack down on taxi drivers who ignore sight-impaired people, seniors and others who need them most. . . .

While the city Accessibility and Disabilities Commission first recommended new taxi regulations in July 2005 based on that incident, Commission Chair Terrie Allen says she has yet to hear about much progress being made at City Hall.

Complaints include one "of a taxi dropping an elderly resident off in an area he was not familiar with. Other complaints involve general rudeness or attempted overcharging, she said."
